What is pass plus about?
This is a six module post test driving course in positive driving. The aim of the course is to improve your concentration, observation, awareness, anticipation
and planning skills to the next level and by doing so, reduce your chances of being involved in a car crash. The biggest outlay you are going to have on top
of your car is insurance. Unfortunately regardless of age, due to inexperience a new driver is likely to be involved in a car crash within their first two years of
driving. By taking a pass plus course you can make a big saving on your car insurance with participating insurance companies

First time on a motorway
















Due to the high volumes of faster flowing traffic,  coupled with there being three or more lanes, motorway driving can be a stressful place for a new driver.
On the pass plus course, you will learn how to deal with

  • Joining a motorway
  • Travelling at a safe speed
  • Observations
  • Use of mirrors and signals
  • Keeping safe spaces to the front, rear and sides
  • Correct lane discipline
  • Safe overtaking
  • Leaving a motorway
  • Breakdown and emergency procedures



On successful completion of a pass plus course, you will be issued with a form that you then send off to the DSA, who will then send you a certificate which
you will forward onto your insurance company for your discount.
